LOCATION

Not far from the city centre , this modern, 2nd floor apartment with balcony sleeps four, overlooks a quiet tree lined side street , yet is only a 2 minute walk from Mariendorfer Damm. Along this cosmopolitan urban highway a variety of shops, restaurants and bars can be found, where you can get something to eat or drink into the small hours. There are also supermarkets, chemists ,a variety of specialist stores and, at the corner of Prinzenstrasse, a bi-weekly open air market. Also situated on the Mariendorfer Damm are bus stops . The U6 tube station, Westphalweg, is only 3 minutes' walk from the apartment . From here the main attractions of central Berlin, Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden and Potsdamer Platz are only 15 minutes away. Along the same road, close to the junction with Prinzenstrasse is a landscaped park with an extensive lake, providing a green lung not only for leisure seeking city dwellers but for an astonishing variety of bird life, including heron. At one end of the park is an open air swimming pool adjoining a flower garden with statuary. A short drive away is Gropius Passage, Berlin's largest shopping mall with multiplex cinema. The A10 (E30) Autobahn is a 20 minute drive in the same southerly direction.

Street parking immediately outside the building is free.

GETTING THERE

By road : A10 Autobahn to junction with B96. Follow this road straight thru Lichtenrade to junction of Mariendorfer Damm junction with Britzer Strasse where you will see Alt Mariendorf U-Bahn station. Carry on thru traffic lights to next traffic lights . Next left is Prinzenstrasse. The entrance to No 34 is at the back of the clearly numbered block of flats.

By U-Bahn. From Schoenefeld Airport, take the 'Airport Express' (Deutsche Bahn rather than S-Bahn) direct to Friedrichstrasse, where you change to the U6 U-Bahn to Westphalweg.
Westphalweg station is on the U6 line direct from Friedrichstrasse. Take southerly exit , cross Kaiserstrasse ,continue for 150 metres to find Prinzenstrasse on your right. No 34 is on the right 100 metres down the road; entrance at rear.

Von der A10/E30 Abfahrt Lichtenrade B96 nehmen. Auf der B96 Richtung Lichtenrade bleiben, über die Kreuzung Mariendorfer Damm/Britzer Strasse. Weiter geradeaus über die nächste Ampel, nächste Straße links ist Prinzenstraße.

"Bhf Friedrichstraße" (ca. 5 km entfernt):
Direktverbindung U6 Friedrichstr. zum Westphalweg
vom Flughafen
"Schoeneberg" (ca. 7 km entfernt):
Deutsche Bahn [ Airport Express] nach Friedrichstraße. Dann steigen Sie um U6[U-Bahn] direkt nach Westfalweg.

Lage der Ferienwohnung

Diese moderne Ferienwohnung mit Balkon befindet sich in der 2. Etage in der Prinzenstraße 34, einer wunderschönen ruhigen Allee nur 2 Gehminuten zum Mariendorfer Damm. Hier gibt es eine reiche Auswahl an verschiedenen Geschäften, Supermärkten, Restaurants, Cafes und Kneipen, wo man rund um die Uhr essen und trinken kann. Mittwochs und Samstags gibt es einen Wochenmarkt direkt an der Ecke Prinzenstraße/Mariendorfer Damm.
Bushaltestellen sowie die U-Bahnstation "Westphalweg" für die U6, sind etwa 3 Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt. Von hier erreicht man innerhalb von nur 15 Minuten das Berliner Stadtzentrum mit Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das Brandenburger Tor, Potsdamer Platz, Unter den Linden, usw.
Auch nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt ist ein großer wunderschön angelegter Park mit Freibad. Berlins größtes Einkaufszentrum, die Gropius Passagen, mit Multiplex Kino, sind innerhalb von 15 Minuten Aufofahrt erreichbar.
Von der Autobahn A10/E30 kommt man innerhalb einer Viertelstunde zur Prinzenstraße.

DasWohnzimmer ist sehr groß und hell und modern eingerichtet. Es verfügt über einen Wohnbereich mit einer Couchsitzecke, TV, einem CD-Radio, einen Esstisch für 4 Personen und einem Balkon mit Tisch und Stühlen. Die Couch kann auch als Schlafgelegenheit für 2 Personen genutzt werden.

Schlafzimmer
Das Schlafzimmer besteht aus einem Doppelbett mit Nachttisch und einer großen Kommode. Das Fenster hat Blick auf eine ruhige Grünfläche.

Küche
Die moderne Einbauküche ist komplett ausgestattet mit einem Kühlschrank, einem Herd mit Backofen, einer Kaffeemaschine, einem Toaster, einem Wasserkocher sowie Geschirr und Besteck.

Tiergarten

Tiergarten (German for Animal Garden) is the name of both a large park in the centre of Berlin and a locality within the borough of Mitte. Before German reunification, it was a part of West Berlin. Until Berlin's 2001 administrative reform, Tiergarten was also the name of a borough, consisting of the current locality of Tiergarten (formerly called Tiergarten-Süd) plus Hansaviertel and Moabit. A new system of road and rail tunnels runs under the park towards Berlin's Central Station in nearby Moabit.
